How To Shorten A Video Online

The EditVideo video editor makes it easy to shorten your videos for free online, no watermarks.

Navigate to edit.video to open the video editor in a separate page, or use the video editor that’s embedded at the end of this page.

Select the video you want to shorten

Click Select video and select the video you want to shorten

Shorten the video

Click the Trim menu item.

Now drag the yellow trim controls to select the parts of the video you want to keep. Clicking the “Split” button allows you to create multiple segments.

Download the resulting video

When you’ve finished shortening the video click the black Export button, and then click “Download”
